Hip Chickadee Purses...
Purses for the younger set! These purses have a padded shoulder strap, tons of fun fringe and trim, and hip fabrics. These purses were created when my daughter, Peyton, was along on a trek to my favorite local quilt shop. A new shipment of bright tie dyed and batik fabrics caught her eye... needless to say, we came home with more fabric than we went in for - and no purpose for it (not that this is unusual!). A day later, Peyton announced that she needed a purse with her fabric, and she wanted fringe like mommy's - as she grabbed it out of my basket on the floor at her feet... and so it began.
